Zespri Kiwfruit 14-Day Challenge : Day 5 - Sabby's Kiwi and Apple Cooler
Assalamualaikum and hello love. :)
The weather has been so hot lately. And as a Muslim, fasting during hot weather is really challenging. Therefore I want a refreshing cool drink for buka puasa. As usual, I use what I have in the kitchen. Want to learn how to make Sabby's Kiwi and Apple Cooler? :)
You will need :
1 Zespri Sun Gold Kiwi
1 Zespri Green Kiwi
1 Green Apple (cut into small pieces)
2 small limes
3 - 4 tbsps of honey (depends on your taste)
1 litre of water
1/2 cup of hot water
How To :
The first thing you need to do is to blend the 2 Zespri kiwis with green apple. Add a bit of water (from the 1 litre of water) and blend until everything is smooth.
In another bowl, squeeze the limes and add honey. Add in hot water to dissolve the honey. Mix well.
Add the kiwis and apple puree into the remaining balance of the 1 litre water.
Add in the honey and lime mixture into the water. Mix well.
Pour into a tall glass and add ice for that cooling sensation. Hihi or you can just keep in the fridge a few hours earlier.
This drink is so refreshing and cooling. This is a great substitute for your typical lemonade. Hehe :)
