Assalamualaikum and hello love!

Today is a dedicated post on a serious topic, breast cancer. Ahhh, it is a topic that shouldn't be taken lightly because as women, we should surround ourselves with as much information as we can. I am not gonna lie and say that I regularly check my 'twins' because I am simply scared. Scared if I find out something is wrong. But truth to be told, it is something that every women should pay attention to to avoid any misfortunate event in the future. Besides going to the hospital Mammogram, we can check them ourselves at home, during shower time.

Assalamualaikum and hello!

I can feel that Zespri Kiwifruit is a permanent content in my blog *hahahaha* If you have been following my blog, you will notice that I published at least one post of Zespri Kiwifruit every year since 2013. But last year I skipped on the challenge due to my pregnancy, believe me I was the laziest I had ever been when I was pregnant. :P I want all of you to know that I love collaborating with brands that gives positive impact to my readers especially when I personally love the brand. Zespri Kiwi has always been in my household for a long time even before I started blogging. It's the only kiwi fruit brand that we go for because of the quality and the freshness is always guaranteed. We used to get the Green Kiwifruit but now since Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit is available, it is definitely my favourite now!

Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit is  cross between Gold varieties of kiwifruit. It has smooth and hairless skin which apparently you can just it together with the flesh! The flesh is yellow and juicy, sweeter than the Green Kiwifruit with tropical notes and a hint of tanginess. I love the taste of this because it is not too tangy. I eat it on it's own, put in smoothies and I even make Marissa's food with Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit. :)

Baby Food : Oats with Kiwi and Dates Puree

1/2  of Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit (You can use 1 whole kiwifruit if you prefer)

3 dates (soaked in warm water for 10 minutes)

3 tbsp of ground organic rolled oats

350ml of water

How To :

1. Put in oats and water in a pot and simmer for about 10 minutes.

2. Put in Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit in the mixture and mix around. Continue cooking for 10 - 15 minutes. If you didn't blend the oats, cook the mixture for another 20-30 minutes.

3. Put the oats and kiwifruit mixture and dates in a blender and blend until everything is smooth. No need to add water.

4. Store in fridge or freezer (2 months)

Marissa loves it, and I love it too! Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit is packed with amazing nutrients that is good for our body. OneZespri® SunGold Kiwifruit has 3 times more vitamin C than orange and 10 times more nutrients than apples.  Do you know by consuming vitamin C can boost and improve your mood level? How amazing is that! :D One thing that I love about kiwifruit that it is suitable for diabetic  because it can help to control glucose level in the body. So have a kiwi as your breakfast to slow and reduce sugar in your blood stream.

Have you seen my updates on Instagram when I went to Zespri Sungold Kiwifest on the 29th May?  It was so much fun! I am particularly excited because Cassey Ho form Blogilates were there, I just love her enthusiasm and her passion towards fitness is legit! :D Wake Up With Zespri campaign is an overall consumer outreach programme to give back to it's consumers. Started off with their collaboration with Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlets where a free Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit is given out with every purchase of a breakfast set from 23rd to 29th May.

Zespri Sungold Kiwifest is a public event was held on the 29th May at Desa Parkcity. It started at 8.30am and continued until 11am. Lots of fun activities happening that day and of course the main highlight is the Pop Pilates class with Cassey Ho. Other activities include  LeelaPass (kids zone), Smoothie Bike (ride a bike to blend your own smoothies), Community Colouring Wal, Giant Twister and Kiwi Dartboard, Zorb Ball, feel-good freestyle music by DJ Irama, dynamic postive tunes by GTXperiment and a complimentary kiwi-inspired breakfast. Let's check out some photos during the event!

It was indeed a lovely Sunday morning with my family, we need MORE of this kind of activities, seriously! If you are keen to try out Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit  you can check out your local groceries as they are already available from May onwards. :)

Assalamualaikum and hello love. How are you guys doing? I'm pretty good considering that I am slowly moving into my new house. Urgh this moving thing is so exhausting, let me tell you that. But you know what? It finally hits me that I am going to be living with my husband. Just the two of us. Lets face it, I have been 'under' my parents nose since I was born and the fact that I am going to be away from them is pretty scary and exciting at the same time. When we were kids, we don't have to do anything for the household, I mean our parents will prepare everything for us. But when the time comes for us to be independent, ahaaaa you have to do everything on your own. Like when you are moving to a new house, you need to think about a lot of things. Buying numerous  furnitures, setting up kitchen cabinet, buying electrical appliances, and the list goes on. One particular aspect that I really care about is having a clear, clean, good and quality water for the household. Lets face it, it is crucial to have a good drinking water system as it will determine our well being. These days there are so many diseases can caused by poor quality drinking water due to chemicals and pollutants, especially if the water is not filtered. I did some reading on this topic, you can check out this link.

I am ready to embark this journey with 3M for cleaner, clearer and better tasting water. This is ideal for every day use as for drinking, cooking and also cleaning. Water is so crucial and I want only the best for my family well-being. If you are in the hunt for a drinking water filter, check out 3M website for more information on the products, and the most important point is why do you need to filter your water? I hope today's post will open up your eyes about having a better quality water.  :) I will keep you guys updated on this journey and review of this water filter will be up once I have ample time trying it out!
