BEAUTY | Review : L'OCCITANE Reine Blanche Whitening Sleeping Mask and Illuminating Eye Care & Mask
Assalamualaikum and hello.
I got to
know 2 new products from L'OCCITANE a
few weeks back at an event in Delectable by Su in Glasshouse and I am stoked to
share with you the review of these 2 newbies. They are the new addition of the
Reine Blanche range which is focused on preserving skin radiance and
brightening up skin complexion for a youthful look. The main ingredients
of this range is Organic Reine Des Pres flowers (Meadowsweet), where the
flower's petals will turn whiter over time. It starts of with creamy shade then
it will turn to pure white that in the end will contribute to a more
illuminated skin. Through L'OCCITANE experiments
and lab work, they created Reine Blanche complex which includes natural
salicylic acid (mild exfoliator), mulberry root extract and Vitamin C. Reine
Blanche range has a total of 7 products, including the 2 new products. So now,
let's get to know the new 2 products which are the L'OCCITANE
Reine Blanche Whitening Sleeping Mask and Illuminating Eye Care & Mask.

I managed to try both of the products for several
weeks and I am here to give you an insight look on how both of these products

L'OCCITANE Reine Blanche Whitening
Sleeping Mask is a gel-cream that is created to be used during
sleep time because that is how the product activates and gives the best result.
It contains a new ingredient call Scuttelaria Baicalensis which helps to
fight damages caused by daily aggressions such as pollution. Polluted air and
water is no joke because they are dangerous and harmful to not just our health
but also to our skin. That is why prevention method is vital to ensure that our
skin protected through out our lives.

I
used one scoop (using the given spatula in the box) to massage all over
my face. You need to apply the sleeping mask quite thick because you need to
really massage it into your skin. I usually take about 5 minutes to massage the
product into my skin. It's important to take your time while doing this routine
because it will determine the best result for your skin. The gel-cream texture
of this sleeping mask is cooling and it feels fresh when applied on the skin.
Since it is a sleeping mask, it does feel a bit greasy but it doesn't feel to
heavy on the skin. The key is to massage deeply into skin and not just lather
all over your face. I use the sleeping mask twice or 3 times a week and I can
feel such a difference on my skin. When I woke up the next day, my skin feels
bouncy, supple and smooth. I love the idea of touching my face in the morning
because I feel like I always have good skin in the morning. When I wash my face
in the morning, there is a residue of the sleeping mask, sort of a protective
film that helps to keep my skin from harmful aggressions. I just wash off my
face and feel like the sleeping mask is successfully absorbed into my skin. As
far for whitening of the skin, I need to use this product longer to see result,
but I surely believe that my skin has become brighter and more even out skin
tone. I also love the subtle floral scent because it is calming and relaxing.
It does feel like I'm in a spa whenever I use it!

with Reine Des Pres flowers, L'OCCITANE Reine Blanche Illuminating Eye Care & Mask also has caffein as one of it's ingredients to
combat puffiness. I am always in the hunt of a good eye cream because
being a mom, my dark circles and eyebags are becoming my best friend. It is no
fun to have dark eye circles because then you will need to cover it up using
make up. This eye product is designed for daily use and also for a mask
routine.
I love
the expert massaging applicator because it helps to stimulate the
micro-circulation of the eye area. You want to get a better sensation while
using this? Pop this eye gel in the fridge and experience the cooling sensation
that will help you to combat puffiness especially if you went to bed late the
night before. It's so refreshing, I really love this method! The product has a
light gel texture to it and it absorbs quite fast. I prefer to use it as daily
use but for extra effectiveness, you can use this as a mask where you need to
apply a thick layer under your eye (focusing on your dark circle) and
leave it on for 10 minutes. Wipe off the excess product but do not rinse it
with water. Let the eye gel soaks into your skin. I feel a light tingling
sensation whenever I use this eye gel. It sorts of tighten up the skin under my
eyes and I can feel it is doing it's job. Most eye care product is something
that takes longer time to see result. As for this eye care & mask, I really
love the cooling applicator and the tingling sensation. I can feel that my
under eye has become a bit more hydrated and I really hope that the wrinkle
under my eyes will reduce with prolonged use.
