Recipe : Tiramisu

Heya lovelies! It's aidiladha now and as usual I wanna do something for dessert. So I made fruit tart and tiramisu yesterday, yeay! But my fruit tart didnt look as good as I thought it would be. But it taste great. Nway will update on that recipe once I try to make another one. But for now, scroll down for tiramisu's recipe. :)

Notes :
1. This recipe serves about 12 - 15pax, you can cut the ingredient into half for a smaller group of people. :)
2. I prefer the ladyfingers to be a bit dry, therefore I dipped them quickly in the coffee. If you prefer them to be a bit moist, you can dip the ladyfingers a little longer. :)

Ingredients :
1 1/2 cup whipping cream
500 gram mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups of cooled strong coffee (I used Nescafe Gold)
1 packet of ladyfingers (around 40+ pcs)
Cocoa powder

Methods:
1. Whip the whipping cream until soft peaks and set in the fridge. Take it out once you are ready to use it.
2. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, vanilla and sugar until smooth.
3. Fold in half of the whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese mixture. Fold gently, then add the remaining whipped cream. Be careful not to overmix.
4. Get a baking pan (up to u which type and size you want to use, I used 2 almost similar rectangular pans). Set aside.
5. Pour your cooled coffee in a deep pan so it's easier for you to dip the ladyfingers in the coffee. Get your ladyfingers and dip into the coffee and lay in the bottom of your pan. Continue doing that until the whole bottom is covered with soaked ladyfingers. Then pour over half of the mascarpone mixture and spread evenly on the ladyfingers and dust about 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder on top.
6. Arrange the remaining soaked ladyfingers on top of the layers and spread evenly the balance of the mascarpone mixture. Dust some cocoa powder.
7. Cover and chill for at least 4hrs before serving.
8. Garnish with berries. (optional)

Enjoy! :)
