To my hijabi friends, this post is dedicated especially to you! I am excited to share with all of you a new shawl brand that has been around since last year. To be honest, the first thing that made me fall in love with the brand the fact that the floral designs on the shawls are drawn by Lady Qomash's own founder, Ms. Liyana whom is a degree holder of Illustration and Animation from University of The West of England in Bristol, UK. The 'artist' side of her brings elegance, feminine and graceful feel to her designs. Art on shawls, why not right? I am currently in love with any floral patterns on shawls, and Lady Qomash designs is something not to be missed!

Just a quick post to congratulate Sephora Malaysia for it's 5th Anniversary!! Yeahhhh I went to the celebration party several weeks back and I had tonnes of fun with my girlies. It's all about beauty, makeup, selfies, and basically it's a night of fun girly night! The party was held at KL Live Centre and the venue is crowded with beauty lovers. Here's to Sephora Malaysia, I hope that Sephora Malaysia will continue to prosper, and bring in more brands into the store. Can't wait for more great things from you! :D

As per request, here I am telling you that my WIFEY clutch is from Aldo Spring/Summer 2016. Yes, I have so many people asking where it is from because honestly, it is a gorgeous statement clutch. I fell in love the moment I saw it on the runway during Aldo Spring/Summer 2016 Collection held in April. It is limited edition so if you want it, you better goto Aldo stores ASAP because there were only 2 left in One Utama store, I'm not sure about other outlets. I love this clutch so much, I really want to use it wherever I go but it's pretty impossible since the compartment is so small. But you will see me rocking this clutch a lot, trust me! :P

Aldo Spring/Summer 2016 is beautiful, seriously everything looks trendy and the designs are top notch. I have a lot of favourites, regardless the handbags or shoes, can I have them all please? For this year Spring/Summer Collection, they created their accessories and footwear based on these 5 themes; Sunshine Yellow, Second Skin, Rainbow Splash, Best Practice and Business Class. The models showcased includes block heeled sandals, neutral espadrilles, suede derbies and preppy oxford. As an overall look of the collection, I give them 5 stars because I simply want all of them in my closet. Bright or neutrals, glam up or casual, you can find it all in this collection.

Being a hijabis, it is hard to find clothes that suits my style in a new store that I am not familiar with. I have my favourite stores but sometimes we need to venture out see what others can offer. High Street Label is a store which sells off season branded clothes such as BCBGMAXAZARIA, Fred Perry, Hugo, Juicy Couture, Ralph Lauren, etc. Since the clothes are off season designs, they might not have all the sizes so it's better for you to check first. If you want branded items with less expensive price tags, you can check out this store. Lets take a look at my first OOTD that I choose, more towards day look. my version of a casually formal look.

As you all know, I am a stay-at-home-mom and a blogger. I do not have a 9 to 5 job and my day time is pretty flexible. I can always get away with casual outfits, well that is my style anyway. But if I need to be a bit formal, I will opt for a casual jacket, coat or cardigans. I love this woven coat as it is a wrap around coat that can hide my tummy (yes I need that) and makes me look slimmer. I paired this coat with my dark denim and black shawl with my long chain necklace.

Every women needs a black dress in her life. Black is always a good choice for night look because it's classy and elegant. This BCBGMAXAZARIA black dress is the right look for me as the strap around the waist makes me look slimmer. Yes people, looking slimmer is vital for me *LOL* It is a low cut V neck with a bare back, therefore I need to pair it with my black basic T. We can never go wrong with black, keep that in mind. :)

High Street Label also is selling a workout clothing brand named Hu.Nu. I am wearing the long sleeve shirt (RM249) which is perfect for yoga because the elastic part sits nicely on your hips. It comes with this 3/4 pants, I must say the material is very nice.

I get a pair of workout clothes from SportsDirect.com which is perfect for me because I want to get back in shape since I am done with my 6 months of postpartum waits (due to my C-Section). I chose this sweater and a workout pants from US Pro and they are damn comfortable! I workout in my home so my new workout pants comes in handy while my sweater is a good cover up if I want to go running outside if I have my short sleeve shirt on.

I felt like I haven't touch on the fashion subject for quite sometime. Reason being is because I am trying my best to cut down my post pregnancy weight. I gained 15kgs in total during my pregnancy, and I already lost 10kgs. But my weight has been static for 2 months and I can't get it off! Urghh it is so annoying and I am so stressed out! T_T I feel so bloated and I can't fit into most of my clothes because I am a size S but I just gotta deal with M size. :( Okay okay this is not the place to rant about my weight, so you just wait for my update on that! :D *ahahaha* 

Anyway we can talk about shawl because obviously shawl has nothing to do with my body size. *hehehe*. If you don't already know, Nora Danish has come up with her own hijab collection called Owl by Nora Danish. The line has quite a selection of shawl and square hijab, tops and jubah too. ND Lavish Love is a beautiful geometrical print square hijab that is perfect for that feminine touch of the wearer. I chose the colour combination of white, mint and pink because I love pastels. The square hijab is large enough to cover my chest and I can do several styles with it. Worn it on a Sunday date with my husband and my baby girl, went out for some Boat Noodle. The square hijab is indeed comfortable and easy to style. I have not used square hijab because I looked like a school kid whenever I used that type of scarves. for so long but this one might be an exception.

If you can see the pleated part on the dress, this would be perfect for a pregnant lady because it can stretch out depending on the size of your baby bump. You can definitely wear this if you are not pregnant as well. :)

I pair the dress with my grey beaded chiffon shawl by FLY by QD & Sabby (which is my own brand with my partner. But we are no longer producing any items). I paired them together as there are bits of grey on the floral print so I guess that would be a good match. I used my Longchamp Le Pliage Neo handbag in Medium to complement the whole look. I freaking love this bag! It is so roomy and it just goes with every outfit I have on! As for accessories, I kept it simple with my 2 gold rings, my engagement ring and wedding ring. Oh gotta put on a pair of sunnies to make the look more stylish. *hahaha*
