BEAUTY | Review : The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Ice Air Puff Sun SPF50+/PA+++

Assalamualaikum and hello!

I am very particular with my sunblock because I don't like sunblock which is heavy on the skin, leave white cast and greasy. I don't have any favourite sun care products because it is hard to find something that fits my preference. Until about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I discovered a new sun care product and it is safe to say that it is my favourite now.  THEFACESHOP Natural Sun Eco Ice Air Puff Sun SPF50+/PA+++  is a sun care product that contains purified extract of Sunflower Seed extract that protects the skin from UV rays that could damage our skin. It is formulated without paraben and phenoxyethanol that can be harmful to the skin.

Extra ice air puff (refill)

It serves as a 5-in-1 product where it protects the skin from the UV rays, gives cooling sensation to the skin,  anti-wrinkle properties as well as whitening properties. It also acts a make up base for a more natural makeup look. When I say it gives cooling sensation to the skin, I am talking about 'ice cold' sensation! Yes, once you pressed the puff into your skin, it delivers -5℃ cooling effect to your skin. Most sunblock or sun care products that I've used before comes in the usual tube packaging. But THEFACESHOP Natural Sun Eco Ice Air Puff Sun SPF50+/PA+++  comes in a spray. Due to spray type packaging, the air inside the bottle will be released on the puff together with the cooling effect. Let me show you how to use it!

First up, twist the cap from OFF to ON. Shake the can for a few seconds.

Then press the cap for about 4 or 5 times to release the ice cold liquid.

Take off the cap (there's a puff inside the cap) and start applying on the skin. You will feel instant ice coldness! I love it! :D

As you can see from the photo above, the sunblock gives a slight sheen of brightness on the skin. It is not too noticeable but I think it is great for a makeup base as you can go ahead and continue with foundation. If you are not using any makeup, this could be a good ending to your skincare. On those days when I don't need to put make up on, I end my day skincare routine with this sunblock and I am ready to head out of the door without feeling naked on the face.  This product does not give me that greasy feeling and it is so lightweight on the skin. The major thing that I like it so much is the cooling effect when the puff hits on my skin, *brrrrrrr* it gives me that instant ice cold feeling and it just wakes me up every morning! If you find it hard to wake up in the morning, I highly suggest this Ice Air Puff to give you that ice cold sensation! :D So far I did not notice any dark spots or pigmentations  after using this, so this is a thumbs up for me. I really recommend THEFACESHOP Natural Sun Eco Ice Air Puff Sun SPF50+/PA+++  if you want to try out something new and innovative. I love it. :) It is retail at RM96.90 and you can purchase it via online or at THEFACESHOP physical stores nationwide. I hope my review helps if you want to find new sun care products to try out! :)

  1. Wow I definitely haven't seen a sunblock that is as innovative as this. I'm sold at the packaging, the puff concept as well as the cooling effect. Will add this to my pinterest list and check it out once I run out of my current sunblock. But the price is a little steep though.. 😉

  2. It's a really lovely product - the cool sensation is a reprieve in our hot climate. My only complaint is that the puff tends to split easily at the seams and so it dangles eventually until the puff side comes completely off. Does anyone have this same problem?

  3. Yes, this is definitely a lovely product - the cool sensation is a great reprieve in our hot climate. My only grouse is that the puff splits easily from the seam after a few applications until it dangles and completely comes off. I've resorted to hand-sewing the seam to prevent the splitting. Does anyone have this same problem?
