BEAUTY | Review : ADANIA by Amaryllis Wellness
Assalamualaikum and hello love.
If you have been following my blog for some time, you should know that I adore beauty products that are natural-based. The love for natural-based products kicked in when I read a lot about the harsh chemicals that are actually included in our beauty products. Well of course the amount of these chemicals are limited and appropriate to be consumed. But once in a while, I'd like to treat myself with natural-based products to sooth, relieve and stabilise my skin. When I came across Amaryllis Wellness, I was intrigued to try their beauty products because they promote natural, fresh and clean beauty care. Their products dose not contain preservatives, fragrances, chemicals, animal fats and colouring. As I was reading the ingredients in their products, I can totally understand what are the ingredients are because they are not the 'scientific' name of chemicals that we are used to. Amaryllis Wellness natural and organic products are sold by the brand name ADANIA, and I have 3 products to share with all of you today.
ADANIA PURE LAVENDER FACE CLEANSER

Okay, I have to admit, I have a 'thing' for Lavender. I am always attracted to Lavender-based products when I am in need to sooth and calm my skin. ADANIA Pure Lavender Face Cleanser is made with 100% Olive Oil Liquid Castle Soap to clear out and clean out impurities, maintaining pH level moisturize and stabilize the skin at the same time. With the added Lavender, the cleanser helps to revitalized the skin for a fresher, cleaner and firmer skin. Bergamot Fruit Oil aids in reducing the bacteria on skin to ensure the skin is always in a healthy state. Patchouli on the other hand, helps to regenerate the skin, depleting dead skin cells and regenerate a new layer of healthy skin. Other active ingredients in this cleanser includes Aqua (water) and also essential oils to keep the skin well-moisturized, well-nourished, improve elasticity and radiant. This cleanser is suitable for normal and combination skin.
I kid you not that the scent of this cleanser is heaven! I love that natural, herbal-ly scent in my cleanser and ADANIA Pure Lavender Face Cleanser hits me at the right spot. I feel like I am in a spa getaway whenever I use this cleanser. Since it does not contain SLS / SLES, this cleanser does not really foam up which is perfectly normal for natural-based cleanser. It feels very light on the skin, refreshing and calming. There's a slight cooling sensation which I quite enjoy. After rinsing it off, I do not feel that 'tight' feeling around my face. Clean face, checked. Fresh face, checked. Soft skin, checked. I enjoy using this cleanser especially when I had busy and tiring day. It helps to pick me up and set me on the right mood. I am actually having some kind of rashes around my jaw line, not sure how it happened but I guess due to this super hot weather. I do noticed there's a slight reduction of the rashes but I will keep you updated on that. I recommend this cleanser if you are looking for something to clear out impurities on your skin, to remove the harmful bacteria on your skin and for the scent, of course! If you want spa experience in your own bathroom, get this! :)
ADANIA MAGICAL CAMELLIA EYE SERUM

ADANIA Magical Camellia Eye Serum is the latest addition in ADANIA's products range. This eye serum is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines around the eyes, wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles and dryness. Well, safe to say that I need this to combat all of these signs of eye aging! Lets take a look at the breakdown of the ingredients and the benefits as well :
♥ Camellia
Anti-oxidants, soothing agent and brighten up the eye area
♥ Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Lock in skin's natural moisture to prevent dryness and soften the skin
♥ Patchouli Oil
Anti-aging due to it's rejuvenating properties and reduce the appearance of scars
Other ingredients included in this eye serum are Evening Primrose Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Wheatgerm Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Frankincense Oil. It is advisable to use this eye serum between 4 to 5 months due to it's natural ingredients (no preservatives). This eye serum is suitable for all skin type.
The scent of ADANIA Magical Camellia Eye Serum is very aromatherapy-like, it is quite strong for me and it lingers on quite a while. The texture of the serum is in the form of oil, a lighter version of oil. When I first used it, I thought "This is going to be too oily for my under eye". Well it is going to be oily if you put too much. I would use between 1/2 to 1/3 of a drop for both eyes. I drop the serum on my ring finger, warm it up in between my left and right ring finger for about 10 seconds. Then I gently pat in on under my eyes, the outer corner, on my eye lids and also my inner corner. Basically I gently pat around my eyes area. Start with patting, then I gently massage my eye area to improve blood circulation. After several time of usage, I can feel that my under eyes feel a bit tighten and hydrated. Not much of a difference in the fine lines and brighten up department, but as long as it keeps my under eye hydrated, that's good enough for me. But I will continue on using this serum to see if it does reduce my horrible dark circle.
ADANIA ABSOLUTE ROSE REFRESHING MIST

I love facial mist, I go through them so fast because in this hot and humid whether, we need to moisturize our skin on-the-go! ADANIA Absolute Rose Refreshing Mist is created to refresh, hydrate and firm up the skin. But the most important benefit of this facial mist that it helps to reduce stress, anxiety and depression through the subtle rose scent. It calms the skin, sending signal to the brain to take a deep breath and relax. There's only 2 ingredients in this facial mist, Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Flower Oil and Purified Water, amazing!
ADANIA Absolute Rose Refreshing Mist can be use as a toner as it can reduce the appearance of large pores but I mainly use this to freshen up my face on-the-go. I always have a facial mist in my handbag and this is what I have been using since I got it. This facial mist can also be used as make up base or make up setting spray, take your pick. I like this facial mist because the rose scent is subtle and the rose water absorbs quickly into my skin. It instantly refresh and hydrates my skin whenever I'm feeling my skin is a bit dry. But one thing that bumps me out is the nozzle of the bottle. This facial mist does not give me that fine and light mist. It kind of like squirted all over my face when I push the nozzle. I mean too much comes out with one spray and I really need to be careful when spraying because if not, my shawl will be stained with rose water. Other than this problem, I am pretty happy with this facial mist and I am going to finish it off. :)
