Pigeon Newborn Pure Review

I am blessed that Marissa enjoys her bath time, meaning that we don't have to go through any tantrums when we need to give her a bath. But warm water is a must,  never cold water or else it's going to be a different story. :D When it comes to her bath times, I like to try out as many brands out there because firstly I love variety and I want Marissa to be able to experience assortment of body products so that she will get used to any kind of ingredients.

There's a new range from Pigeon, the Newborn Pure which is formulated with by Naturalayer, a layer of moisturizing ingredients that stimulates the naturally forming vernix and ceramide found on baby's skin inside the womb. To make it simple, the Naturaleyer technology has the dual moisturizing effect that helps to protect the skin while locking in the moisture. Even though Marissa is no longer a newborn, this range can also be used by infants and toddlers. The bonus point about this range is because of the non-existance of paraben, formaldehyde and alcohol. Pigeon products are made in Japan, therefore you can expect high quality products. There are 5 products inclusive in the Pigeon Newborn Pure range ; Protective Cream , Calming Oil, Moisturizing Lotion, Nourishing Shampoo and Purifying Body Wash. In this blog post, I'll be reviewing the Purifying Body Wash and Moisturizing Lotion

Pigeon Newborn Pure Purifying Body Wash is a gentle body wash that cleanses and purify baby's skin without causing any irritation. The texture is not too thick and it lathers well. It gets foamy once I rubbed it with water but then the foam will disappear in a couple of minutes. The one thing that really noticeable is the scent. It has this floral scent which bothers me in the beginning but I grew to like the lingering scent left on Marissa's hair. It is a top-to-toe wash, therefore it can be used all over the body. It does not irritate Marissa's skin as I do not see any rashes popped out after using this body wash (she has a mild sensitive skin). A bottle of 200ml Pigeon Newborn Pure Purifying Body Wash is retailed at RM59.

Pigeon Newborn Pure Moisturizing Lotion is a body lotion that should be used after bath time. I love the creamy texture of the lotion and how easily it is to be massaged into the skin. It absorbs quickly and it makes lotion application easier as my girl has no patience to wait around. *hahaha* The lotion has the same scent as the body wash, which makes perfect sense because they are from the same range. However, if you are picky about scented products, you might want to test it out in stores first.  Anyway, I like how it makes Marissa's skin soft and smooth, I just want to hug her all day everyday! A bottle of 200ml of Pigeon Newborn Pure Moisturizing Lotion is priced at RM59.
