BEAUTY | Review : THEFACESHOP Gold Collagen Foundation, Eyelashes Smoky Smoky & FACE it Finger Gloss

Assalamualaikum and hello!

I've been wanting to create an orange and brown smoky eyes with rose gold glitter and pair it with the new fake eyelashes I got from THE FACE SHOP  This is also a great opportunity for me to review the Gold Collagen Ampoule Foundation and FACE it Artist Finger Gloss. I've been using these two products for about a month and I can finally give out my thoughts on all of these  products.

THE FACE SHOP Gold Collagen Ampoule Foundation is a high coverage foundation with SPF30 PA++.  By looking at the name, you can probably guess that this foundation is infused with Gold Collagen Ampoule that can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and blurring out large pores. Hence besides being only make up, it also serves as a skincare product.

One pump

The texture of the foundation is thick but it is easy to blend out. But, you need to blend it out as soon as possible as it dries out pretty quickly. One pump is good enough for a high coverage finish for those who has no skin problems. 2 pumps would be ideal if you have scars or blemishes that is need to be covered. I got the shade V203 (Natural Beige) which is the same shade for all of my CC Cushion. At first when I applied it, oh my gosh I really feel that it is way too fair for me, but as the minutes go by, the foundation oxidizes and it matches my skin tone. The foundation is lightweight and gives a dewy finish. I would say this would be suitable for those who wants a fresh and youthful makeup look. This would be ideal for dry or combination skin, I'm not sure how it would fair or oily skin type as it can get slightly greasy after 3 hours onwards. The foundation has a floral scent which I really don't mind.

As you can see from the above photo, you will notice the difference in my skin tone. I do feel that this foundation brightens up my complexion and gives radiance to my skin. However, one downside about this foundation is the shades option. I believe there's only 2 shades if I'm not mistaken. I took the darkest shade (and I am fair with pink undertone) so anyone who is darker than me, I'm sorry you are not gonna get your shades. :( But if you do want to try it out, go tho the stores and swatch it yourself. A bottle of the foundation is priced at (will update soon) at 40ml.

A make up look won't be complete without a volumized, full and long lashes. Well not everyone is lucky to have long lashes, I am one of them. I don't really use fake eyelashes but once in a while I do feel the need to glam it up a little bit. In this smoky glam makeup look, I decided to use THE FACE SHOP Pro Eyelashes Smoky Smoky.

The box of eyelashes comes with a glue for the lashes. The glue is quite good actually, it sticks on pretty well and it's also easy to remove. No pain I tell ya.

I love how the eyelashes complete the whole look. This lashes is synthetic and not human hair. I have a thing with human hair lashes, I try to avoid them because I'm not comfortable wearing someone's hair. T_T Even though this lashes is synthetic, it still look soft and blends in my natural lashes. It's easy to bend and shape to suit my eyes shape. A box of this lashes is priced at (will update soon).

The last product I'm going to review is the THE FACE SHOP FACE it Artist Finger Gloss. Okay so I'm not really a fan of lip gloss because I don't like the sticky feeling after application. But this one, is totally different than any other lip gloss I've tried! FACE it Artist Finger Gloss is unique as it has 3 function in one. The first application will give the lip tint effect, the second application will give a glossy shine finish while the third application will give opaque coloured lips.

I love the applicator! It mimics our fingers as Korean makeup artist love using fingers to dab lip products on the lips. It is so easy to use and glides on easily. Even the dabbing motion is a breeze!.

I got the shade BE701 which is a nude with peach undertone. My kind of shade, of course.

You can see the difference in all 3 applications. The first layer gives that natural look, second the glossy look while the third look gives the full coloured finish.  My take on this lip products? Love it, especially if you are not really into lip gloss because of the sticky feeling. This one is not sticky at all! It's really moisturizing and I love the not overly shiny lips look. FACE it Artist Finger Gloss is priced at (will update soon).

This is the look I created with the Gold Collagen Ampoule Foundation, the Smoky Smoky eyelashes and FACE it Artist Lip Gloss in BE701. The smoky orange and brown eyes look is complete with the soft nude lips. But I then changed the lips to give it more a semi matte nude lips.

Eye products used in this look is Kat Von D Shade + Light Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Rust, Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette, Witch's Pouch Gold Glitter and Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Foil Eyeshadow. Eyeliner is Stilla Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in Black.

Blush and highlighter from Becca X Jaclyn Hill Palette (Amaretto and Champagne Pop)

Bronzer is Park Ave Princess from Tarte Cosmetics.

As for the lips I used Bite Beauty Matte Lip Crayon in Leche, Too Faced Melted Chocolate and The ARtist Finger Lip Gloss at the centre of the lips.

Head of to THE FACE SHOP if you have your eyes on any of these products. I really like them all!
