I've heard so much about THE FACE SHOP Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit SPF30 PA++ and really curious about the finish because most of foundation from Korea that I've tried are usually dewy finish. The best thing about this foundation that it comes in 2 style of packaging; in a glass bottle with a pump and a compact version which is trending.
THE FACE SHOP Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit SPF30 PA++ contains Biosaccharide Gum-1 that helps in providing instant and long-term moisture to the skin. Is it important to have hydrated skin when applying makeup? It sure does! It will help your skin base to be smoother and trust me, your make up will look better with well-moisturized skin. The formulation is light weight too, a second-skin finish foundation that is suitable for our hot and humid weather.

With the combination of two star ingredients, Flat Cover Pigment and Air Pore Powder, these two star power makes the foundation light as a feather. Flat Cover Pigment provides natural coverage with multiple flat layers which helps to increase the longevity of the foundation. Where as Air Pore Powder has the ability to absorbs 4 times more sebum than its own size for oil-control and improve brightening effect. This foundation is also enriched with Adenosine for anti-ageing properties and it comes in 4 shades ; V201, V203, N201 and N203. The foundation in the bottle is priced at RM93 for 30ml while the foundation in a compact form, THE FACE SHOP Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit To Go SPF30 PA++ is priced at RM 118 for 15g.
This is my skin with one layer of foundation. Even with one layer, this foundation covers really well. I would say it is buildable with medium to high coverage. I can feel that the foundation sets quite fast after application and I love the matte finish. Even though is matte finish, the foundation feels lightweight and blend into my skin like one. Going into this review, I wasn't expecting much because most Korean foundation that I've tried before has dewy finish. But I can safely say that THIS my friend, is THE BEST Korean-made foundation. I love how THE FACE SHOP gives us the option between a glass bottle (that we can use at home) and a compact size to use for travel and touch-ups.

My take on this foundation? You really need to try this out. Even though I have dry (sometimes combo skin) this foundation works great on my skin. So pleaseeeee go to the store and try this out, will ya? :D
