[Beauty Review] : NARS - Powder Foundation in Fiji

Assalamualaikum and  hello lovelies! This is the second part of my NARS review. Read HERE for the first part of my NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer review, and today I am going to proceed with NARS Powder Foundation in Fiji.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NARS Powder Foundation  is a lightweight powder formulation with a soft-matte finish. It contains SPF12 PA++ to protect the skin against UVA and UVB rays. Personally I would use powder foundation any day compared to any pressed powder because obviously powder foundation will give me more coverage and I think they are worth the money to spend on.

As for the packaging, I think it is too bulky because of the sponge compartment. I think the sponge takes too much place. :P The compact will get dirty easily because of the rubbery texture of the packaging. Mine has all  kinda stain on it. You can wipe off the stain of course, but it wouldn't be the same. :D A plus point for the packaging because it comes with a full mirror!

The shade I'm in is Fiji. It is actually darker in real life than in the photo above. This shade is suitable for girls with fair skin tone with yellow undertone.

The NARS Powder Foundation is a lightweight powder and it glides smoothly on my skin. I apply the powder using my Ecotools brush powder and it works wonderfully. The powder itself  is fine and smooth therefore giving me a velvety finish. I am a powder foundation collector and this is one of the best powder foundation I tried so far because it mattifies my skin.  It is a light coverage powder foundation therefore I will use this after my foundation and concealer to set my makeup and it works great. I would say it stays on about 6 - 7 hours before the greasiness strikes. I use this powder foundation together with the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30/PA ++ for a radiant and healthy glow.

My Final Thoughts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you love natural and effortless look, a product that is easy to use, I would highly recommend the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30/PA ++. Besides the radiant glow you will achieve from this product, you will also gain skincare benefits such as reduction of hyper pigmentation and dark spots, as well as for hydration.  For dewy and radiant look, this is the one for you especially to those who has dry, normal or combination skin. But remember to set it with powder foundation or pressed powder because you will get an oily face after several hours. Hence pairing it with NARS Powder Foundation is a good idea because it will set your makeup to a perfection. I use both of this products together and they work together so well. If you love powder foundation, do check it out. I know they are a lot of choices out there, just make sure to swatch it and test it on your face.  If you really in a tight budget and have to choose one between these two, I would say go for the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30/PA ++. ^_^ I hope my review gives you girls some ideas on NARS products and help you out a little. I understand when it involves high end makeup (meaning more money to spend) we really need to think deep before buying. :)
