MY REVIEW

TEXTURE / SCENT :

The texture is nor too thick or nor too runny. Good enough to my liking. It is easy to blend into the skin and it is not sticky or greasy after the lotion has totally soaked into your skin. It's pastel yellow in colour and fragrance free. Woo hoo! I prefer non-fragrance products or slightly fragrance. Nothing to crazy because I can't stand products with heavily scented.

USAGE :

Always cleanse and tone your face. Never skip the 2 steps. Moisturizer comes at step number 3. I pour a small amount and massage into my skin and neck area. I usually do a little bit of face massage when applying the lotion. You need to leave it for about 5 minutes for the lotion to absorb into the skin. I can feel that the lotion is working because I can feel than my skin is 'drinking up' all the moisture goodness. After using the lotion for about 3 weeks, I'm happy to say that my skin has been well moisturized and I noticed that my skin has become more soft and supple. I'm not sure whether it helps in my makeup application, but I do notice that my BB Cream or foundation glides smoothly after applying the Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ . Oh and it does help to eliminate dry patches on the tip of my nose in about 2 days. hip hip hooray! :)

I can't really show you the smoothness or how supple my skin is, but I assure you, with or without makeup, my skin feels hydrated and well moisturized at all time. :)

The price range is affordable for me. 50ml for RM68 is okay because my current moisturizer from the Body Shop costs RM54 for a 50ml tub. And 50ml will last you at least for 6 months because you will only need a small amount for each application.

We have come to the final day of my Zespri Daily Scoop of 14-Day Amazing Challenge! Woot Woot! ^_^ I am so excited to share my experience consuming these kiwis for the past 14 days with all of you. But before that. lets take a look at my journey of the 14 days through the photo collage I created below. :)

When I was approached for this challenge I was so interested to do it because I have been trying on living a healthier lifestyle since May 2013. I signed up for a gym membership to tone my body and trying my best to eat healthy. I've been making smoothies at least 4 times a week to incorporate fruits and veggies in my diet, trying my best to avoid fast food or processed food intake and anything that can contribute to a healthier lifestyle. I've been snacking on organic and natural tidbits too. It seems impossible in the first place but trust me, it will get easier once you are used to it. I'm not saying I don't eat fast food, or I don't eat dessert or eat those yummy cheesy and fattening stuff, what I do is control my portion. There's a quote I swear by,  'Create healthy habits, not restrictions.' You can eat whatever you want, but everything must be in moderation.

Including kiwis in my daily diet has been amazing! I was given 2 types of Kiwi :

Zespri Green Kiwi : Tad bit sour, harder in texture (compare to Sun Gold). Great for cooking and baking.

Zespri Sun Gold Kiwi : Sweet, softer texture. Great for smoothies/drinks and eat on its own.

Throughout this 14-Days, the major things that I love about Zespri kiwifruit:

Digestive Health

Kiwi really does help in my digestion system because usually within 2 hours after I consumed my kiwi, my stomach will tell me that I need to go and do some business. haha It is because Kiwi is a good source of fiber that helps to improve bowel movement and  reduce bloated feeling. Kiwi also contains actinidin (protease enzyme) that breaks down proteins such as meat and dairy to ease digestion process. I love the feeling of bloated-less, awesome..... :D

Low in Calorie 

You know I've been wanting to lose some weight and tone up my body so Kiwi is such a great snack treat. It is only 60kcal for 100g serving. Furthermore, it is low-glycaemic (low GI) food that helps to control the blood's sugar which is awesome for weight management.

Rich in Vitamin C , Vitamin E & antioxidant

All of these sources are awesome for your skin! Yeah it's early to tell whether it really makes a different to your skin, but hey NATURAL food is definitely way better for your skin than processed food, am I right? ;)

Versatile

Kiwifruit is so versatile. I mean there's a million ways you can use it for! What do I do with my kiwi?

I cut it in half and eat on its own.

I mixed it in my oatmeal.

I mixed it with my smoothies.

I made kiwi popsicles.

I made kiwi drinks.

I DIY facial mask using kiwi.

I baked a cake using kiwi. 

I believe there is more way to fully utilize these kiwis, explore explore explore! ;)

Zespri's kiwis are totally fresh, delicious and has so much benefits to one's body. I love both of the kiwis, but if I have to choose a favourite type of kiwi, I would definitely go for Zespri Sun Gold Kiwi. The taste  is just uhmmmmmm yummy! :)

I've been posting blog posts about kiwis for 10 days already and you must be wondering what is it with this kiwi??? :D

I've always known kiwi has 2 times Vitamin C than oranges, but do you know that there are other awesome benefits? Yeah, so much more! The photo below tells all the benefit from your furry brown friend, kiwi.

From all the benefits above, I love the fact that Kiwi is low in calories, aids in digestion system, high in anti-oxidant and  rich in Vitamin C! But don't get me wrong, I'll take in all the goodness because I can see some difference since consuming kiwis for 10 days. I had 2 Zespri Sun Gold Kiwi for dinner last night because I want something light and sweet. This is just perfect. I can eat more but it's ok I can have more tomorrow. :)

Assalamualaikum and hello love! :)

Yes August 10th is my birthday. :) How old I am? Well I'm pretty old. :D Hehe so this is my first time celebrating my birthday during Syawal. I've been celebrating my birthday during puasa for about 3 or 4 years already. huhuhu  Nevertheless, I'm thankful and grateful to be alive and syukur Alhamdulillah to the All Mighty Allah SWT for letting me live for another year. I'm blessed with great family and friends. Awwww I would never trade anyone with anything! :)

p/s : Thanks for all the birthday wishes sayangness. I appreciate it very much. really. I feel so loved. :) 

Anyway I brought back some kiwis to my kampung in Perak. I also taught my aunties and cousins how easy it is to eat kiwis by cutting them in half and scoop it out using a spoon instead of having to peel and all that jazz. They agreed that it is easier and less messy! ^_^  And of course I brought back some of the Zespri's Superb Kiwifruit Cake that I baked on day 7 and they loved it! Yeayyyyy nothing makes me happy when they enjoyed my baked goods. hehe :D

3rd day raya was pretty chilled and relaxing. We decided to cooked lunch because we are so bored with lemang and such. Can't take it anymore! -_-

It's the first day of Syawal and I am so happy! ;)

The best part of Raya is spending time with my loved ones, nothing beats that. Seeing those I haven't seen for almost a year, a lot of catching up to do.

Nyums nyums!

The cake is soft, moist and sweet. The tartness of the kiwi works well with the sweetness of the cake. I never had or even bake a kiwi cake before. I must say this is an interesting cake, in a good way of course! ;) If you are looking for a different type of cake to serve your guest on Hari Raya, why don't you try this one? A unique cake to have on a special day  instead of the over rated cakes such as chocolate cake. :D
