BEAUTY | Review & Tutorial : Chriszen Roller Moist Cream Ampoule Plus HD Foundation

Assalamualaikum and hello love.

I'm back with another foundation review and this time around is the new Roller Moist Cream Ampoule Plus HD Foundation by Chriszen. This is their new foundation which has not been launched yet (It will be launched by end of January) and I am honoured to be able to try it first hand. This foundation is enriched with L-Glutathione + Collagen SPF 50/PA+++. You must be wondering, what is Glutathione? Glutathione is a molecule that acts as a magnet that grabs free radicals, toxins and heavy metals [source].  L-Glutathione or known as Liposomal Glutathione is the reduced  Glutathione that is better than regular Glutathione because our body will readily absorb them and effectively boost glutathione levels.  Meaning that, products that contain L-Glutathione benefits our skin in terms of anti-ageing, anti-oxidant and whitening too. Collagen in beneficial in the same way as well so I can conclude that this foundation also gives skin care benefits to the user. Since this foundation has SPF 50/PA+++ , you don't have to worry about the harmful UV Rays as your skin will be protected while using the foundation.

I must say that the roller applicator is the one that makes me so interested to try this foundation. I have seen this roller applicator for foundation in videos before but I have never seen the roller is attached to the foundation. In the beginning I was so skeptical and wonder whether it would work because the roller is small!

Push the button to let the foundation out. One push equals to one pump.

There is 2 shades available, which is Natural Beige and Honey Beige.

My skin tone is suitable for Natural Beige which is more towards a yellow undertone and lighter than Honey Beige. My take on the foundation? I love the roller applicator! It is so easy to use but you gotta keep on practicing using it. On the first usage, I had to push the button several times for the foundation to come out but after that the foundation comes out easily. It does not leave any streaky lines and it makes the skin looks flawless. The foundation itself is lightweight and non-greasy, my two most important aspect when choosing a foundation. I would say the coverage is light to medium. One layer of the foundation feels like a BB or CC Cream, from second layer onwards it starts to feel like foundation because of the extra coverage. My skin looks flawless in photo and video, which is a good sign of a High-Definition Foundation. It is long-lasting as the foundation did not budge after using for 3-4 hours. I think the foundation oxidizes slightly so there is no need to get a lighter shade. I think the foundation is worth trying because of the good results I get and it is only retail at RM69.90 (excluding GST)

I used Chriszen Roller Moist Cream Ampoule Plus HD Foundation in this photo. :)

Another product from Chriszen that I tried is the Pearl Loose Powder which is for brightening and oil-control. The texture of the powder is buttery soft and so easy blend into the skin. It is a mattifying powder so for those who has oily skin, this could a good product to try out. Even though I have dry/combination skin, I do not feel any dryness whenever I use this powder. I love this powder to set my makeup, especially for my under eye to set my under eye concealer. The loose powder comes in 2 shades, Light Beige and Medium Peach. I use Light Beige for my under eye and Medium Peach on my face. The Pearl Loose Powder is retail at RM 29.90 (excluding GST).

Lastly, another product from Chriszen that I tried is their Lip Tinted Stick.  They come in 4 shades, Tangy Tangerine, Charming Red, Candy Pink and Flawless Fuschia.  It is matte finish that is highly pigmented!

It is a dual ended pencil type where one end is the lip tint and another end is the NBR sponge that can be used to create gradient effect on the lips. The 'Korean' gradient lips look is so popular because the petal-bitten gradient effects makes one looks fresh, youthful and adorable! I like the lip tinted stick as it is not drying even though it is a matte finish. It glides on smoothly on the lips and the pigmentation is fantastic! A total thumbs up! Chriszen Lip Tinted Stick is retailed at RM 39.90 (excluding GST) each.

Lets take a look how these lip tinted stick looks on my lips, full cover and gradient effects!

How to achieve the gradient effect? I simply pat on a little bit of powder on my entire lips. Then taking the lip tinted stick, I only apply it on the center of my top and bottom lip. Using the NBR sponge, I drag the colour from the center of my lips outward using a light hand. Don't drag too harsh because you will end up with the colour all over your lips.

I created this whole look using Chriszen Roller Moist Ampoule Plus HD Foundation, Pearl Loose Powder and Lip Tinted Stick. Check out my video below for my review and makeup tutorial! ^_^
