Zespri 14 Day Challenge : Day # 2 & # 3 - A powerful snack and a hearthy breakfast

Assalamualaikum and hello my love! 

Have you taken your daily intake of Zespri Green Kiwi? :) I had 2 Zespri Green Kiwi after my workout as my post workout snack. I love the natural sweetness and tangy taste to it. I definitely need some sugar in my body after a great workout session in the gym. I actually brought it with me to the gym and ate it in the car. Hehe I brought with me a small spoon, cut it half and just scoop it out! Easy, convenient and full of nutrients! It really keeps me going before my next meal which is lunch or dinner. Oh I usually workout in the morning around 10 am or in the evening around 5.

And today is the 3rd day of the challenge and I want to show you guys my One Hour Oatmeal using Zespri Green Kiwi. If you follow me on Instagram, I told you guys how much I love overnight oatmeal but I was so tired yesterday to make one. So this morning, I woke up, created this recipe, keep it in the fridge for one hour and tadaaaaa, my One Hour Kiwi Oatmeal is done! I like to drink my coffee first and wait about half to one hour after to have my breakfast so this is perfect for me. Want to know how I make my easy breakfast recipe? Lets!! ^_^    


Ingredients :

Cooked oatmeal (I use Quaker Oat instant oatmeal. Cook as per instruction)
1 tbsp of Chia seeds
1 cup of low fat milk (I actually used about 1/2 cup, you can totally omit it out if you don't want to use it)
2 tbsp of Strawberry greek yogurt
1 Zespri Green Kiwi (diced)
Chopped walnut
1 tsp of natural honey

I use a glass for this recipe but you can use bowl or anything you desire.

The recipe is super easy! All you need to do is just layering all the ingredients. Here's the steps :

1. Cooked oatmeal
2. Chia seeds
3. Low fat milk
4. Strawberry greek yogurt
5. Zespri Green Kiwi
6. Natural honey
7. Walnut

Keep it in the fridge for one hour! Within this one hour, I am able to get ready and by the time that one hour is gone, I can eat my breakfast and walk out the door! :D


If you don't want the recipe to be too runny, skip the milk and you will get thicker oatmeal. The Zespri Green Kiwi adds the sweetness and tangy taste which makes it great for a morning pick-up.
